A little bit about myself

My wife and I have been married for nearly 35 years and we reside in Kansas City. We have nine children and five grandsons. Three of our children are married and living on their own and another three have moved out as well, but we still have several at home with both my father-in-law and father living with my three youngest. Our home is always full of activity! Whether it be kids going to kids club, or my father-in-law managing the chapel finances, we always have something going on. We have the privilege of serving in our local church. My wife currently is able to stay at home as the responsibilities are great there. I serve as one of several elders and have some opportunity to publicly minister in many different places across the world, participate in medical missions, and write concerning the Word of God. I also serve as the director at Assembly Care Ministries and as a doctor for the telemedicine services we provide to full time workers, because of that I work part time at one of the local hospitals. I have been in the practice of Emergency Medicine since 1991. I have few hobbies as most of my time is spent with our family or dating my wife or ministering to God’s people around the globe. I do enjoy photography and usually use my amateur skills photographing my children and grand children. Our goal is to love the Lord with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. We desire our children to do the same. Our home philosophy is: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Josh. 24.15).
